The genus Ponera Latreille, 1804 in the Iberian Peninsula: biometric identification and distribution

Abstract
Iberian samples of Ponera coarctata (Latreille, 1802) and Ponera testacea Emery, 1895 have been identified through the discriminant functions proposed by previous authors. A compilation of bibliographical records are shown in maps. Some significant features for the identification of both Iberian species are commented.
