First checklist of the ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) of Cuenca Province

Abstract
In this article, we present the first list of ant species in Cuenca Province, which currently has 75 species, divided into 22 genera and 3 subfamilies. The list has been compiled with an exhaustive bibliographic review and completed with 13 isolated records from sam- plings in Belinchón, Priego, Masegosa, Fuertescusa y Carrascosa de la Sierra.
